It reminds me of these baby chicks I saw once…they all went under the mom and one could never fit and was like banging his head on the mom trying to get in. Then Id lift up the mom and all the baby chickys would run out like PEEP!!PEEP!!!PEEP!! and run in every direction. I held one it was like..puny…it fit in the palm of my hand.

we have some ducks at our working place by a huge lake (we rent out boats) and there we thought several duck, including a family of 8 baby, to eat bread from our hands and if we hold a piece a bit high they jump:D its so awsome!!!

Good video footage of a hen and her young. I work with wild mallard ducks in the north Seattle area (although I have only one video on here and it is a silent one shot with a digital point + shoot camera – I do mostly still photography). Looks like the hen in your video is teaching her young how to get about, including the use of their yet undeveloped wings (the feathers, that is). I study animal behavior – but they’re my little friends, too!
