Last week on a whim, I tried something new. I created a how-to video for an easy-to-make and delicious summer refreshment: Watermelon Lemonade. To my surprise, many of you dear viewers/readers (by the way, thank you for watching!) expressed that you’d like another chilled libation for this weekend.
Just in time to kick off your Saturday is a seriously sexy Strawberry Sangria that’s sure to get you laid. Ok, that’s pushing it. However, it’s certain to wow that “special someone”. Even Napoleon Dynamite will be jealous of your super domesticated-like skills. And ya know the best part? It’ll take you about five minutes to prepare and doesn’t cost mucho dinero. Even better, now you know what to do with that half-bottle of blush wine that was sorta going funky in the fridge. So, it’s time for you to get in the kitchen, bathtub, your car, under your office desk or wherever it is you get on your down and dirty drink mojo. Salud and drink responsibly!
P.S. For those of you who enjoy a lush life, remember Sangria isn’t fruit punch and too much may cause your motor skills to crash. If your lack of sobriety should result in a drunken stooper here’s a link to a few “tried and true” idiot friendly hangover cures. The bacon one is THE best!

In Spain we add to the “Sangria” a small glass of “Triple Seco”, a licor made of oranges. . If you don’t find “Triple seco” you can try “Cointreau”, a french imitation. .
What if I use mayonnaise instead of lemonade?

great now ive got something cool and quick to serve at my childs birthday party,. thanks for that
woooooooooooooooooow
Thanks everyone for your comments! Just wanted to say you can add more strawberries to this recipe – raspberries are yummy as well. I tried blackberries w/ a batch and tastes good but didn’t make for an appetizing presentation….
Fuk Spain, Portugal, france, and Itally… its all about the North…… Germany, Sweaden, Norway, Scotland, and Poland. They kick the romantic countries ass. I think people give romantic countries way too much embelishment, when really they are nothing speacial. Germany umong the other northern and central countries contribute way more to society especialy in engineering and medicine……..
I’m not sure what that has to do with Sangria but no worries, I’ll do something special for Oktoberfest.
I thought the Sangria was made from Tomatoes? Cos in Mexico they drink Sangria with Tequila to cool down the hot of Tequila. Or maybe all the drinks that red colored r Sangria?
There are so many different variations of the drink…and yes in Mexico they do add Tequila. Typically you might find brandy, triple sec/cointreau in Sangria. I don’t think there is any right or wrong way to make it – great for having fun and experimenting.
haha Thanks for clear it out, i was confused xD and i tried ur Sangria it tasted great, and tho try to cover the brim with salt it tastes greater!
Lol, well thank you for your comment! I think Sangria goes great with just about anything Of course, I’m a bit biased….
It’s so easy to make – takes about five minutes to prepare…..and so tasty.
Yeahh.. I did it yesterday!! It’s delicious! ty 4 sharing
